The camera is currently looking toward the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) as it passes through Coquitlam on its way east to the Port Mann Bridge (see Camera #3). This section of the highway is approximately 3.2 km (2 mi.) from the camera. (For those of you familiar with the area, this is the section of the highway fondly known as the "5 o'clock parking lot", just east of the Ikea building.)
An image is captured every 30 minutes ... this is the most recent one.
During the winter "rainy season" and in summertime haze or smog, it is sometimes difficult to get a clear picture of the highway. Browsing the past 24 hours (below) can often produce a good view.
